Your article about Ryan Braun is extremely presumptuous. You recommend following Andy Pettite’s example–which is fine IF you actually did take PEDs. If you actually did not, then what do you recommend?

I served 9 years in the Army and was subject to dozens of urinalysis tests. Chain of custody for a urinalysis is extremely important. Screwing that up is NOT a technicality; it is a major error. Your article takes the tone that “we all know Ryan did this but…” and I find that extremely ill-informed.

We don’t know Ryan did anything. All we now know is that the test that was administered to him was flawed. That is all. What do you expect him to explain?

Red Sox are 6-0 in Lester buccholz starts not 5-1.

I enjoy reading your blogs. One of your recent story’s about Rodger Clemens and PED’s brought back a memory. One of my friends bought Clemens mothers house and as they were putting things in the attic they came across boxes addressed to his mom from a pharmaceutical company in Canada. It really made me believe that he was having things shipped their in order to hide it.

In your article about what happened to Stanton at Brewers stadium, you take every opportunity to defend Fiery and state that the two pitches were not intentional, (which I agree) yet when Descalfani hit a Brewer your article reads,” the Marlins got their revenge”. Why can’t you afford the Marlin pitcher the same courtesy as Descalfani? If you were watching the game, his pitch was no where as invasive and much less intentional than the ones pitched by Fiery.
